What: 10th Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer WalkWhen: Sunday October 24, 8:00am- 1:00pm

Where: Genoa Park, 303 W. Broad St. in downtown Columbus (Genoa Park is located on the Scioto River directly behind COSI)

Details: On Sunday, October 24 the American Cancer Society will host its 10th Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. The funds raised from this walk go towards the many programs and services that the American Cancer Society provides to breast cancer patients as well as funding research and educating women about early detection. Columbus Gives Back volunteers will help with route signs before and after the event, as well as be stationed along the walk route to cheer on the walkers and pass out water.  Dress in comfortable clothes and shoes!

Parking:  Parking is available in the COSI lot and I believe it's $4. There are meters in the area and may be available given the early arrival time.Where to Meet: Volunteers will check in at the volunteer tent located behind registration.  This will be right by the back steps of COSI.  Look for someone wearing a blue Columbus Gives Back t-shirt
